In 2016, the Ford F-150 was manufactured with either a standard CD player or an in-dash navigation screen. Both of these devices may encounter issues over time that require servicing to restore functionality. The most common problem is typically a blown fuse, which can be found in position 33 of the passenger compartment fuse panel. This fuse is a 20 amp yellow fuse and should be replaced with a similar 20 amp fuse. If the unit is completely non-functional, it may need to be replaced. While purchasing a direct replacement from Ford is an option, it is more expensive compared to opting for an aftermarket head unit and having it installed at a local audio shop.

If the radio is unresponsive, try performing a soft reset by simultaneously pressing and holding the power button and the seek button on the right side for approximately 5 seconds.
