The 2017 Lincoln Continental can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Even though it doesn't come with a factory-installed trailer hitch, you can easily find aftermarket hitches for under $200. The installation process for most of these hitches is quite similar. You'll need a ratchet, various sockets, and torx bits, as well as a screwdriver, tape measure, marker, and some type of saw. To make space for the hitch, you'll need to trim a small section of the lower bumper. These kits attach directly to the vehicle's frame through existing holes, so there's no need for drilling. Additionally, the kits should include all the necessary hardware, such as nuts and bolts, for installation.
