My turn signal on my 2008 Equinox is not automatically cancelling lately. I followed the recommendation and replaced the entire arm, but it didn't solve the problem. I suspect there may be another component in the steering column that could be causing the issue. Has anyone else encountered this situation before?

I purchased a new arm in 2013 for the same thing. The mechanic charged me $118.00 and claimed it was repaired, but it turned out not to be fixed.
