The issues with the 10-speed transmission in the 2018 Honda Accord are typically associated with rough gear shifts, especially between the lower gears like second and third. As the transmission ages, these rough shifts tend to improve as the gears mesh better over time. If you find the shifting to be excessively rough, consider having a transmission flush to remove any debris from the gearbox. Another common issue is the vehicle slipping out of gear during driving, which may be due to a controller problem that struggles to find the right gear when accelerating aggressively.

I bought a pre-owned 2018 car with 35,000 miles on it, and it's still experiencing the same issue. I brought it to Honda, and they had it for 2 days. The technician noticed the rough shifting and reported it to the Honda team, who told him it was a normal occurrence and wouldn't cause any harm. Make sure they include this information in the invoice for your own records. Unfortunately, they didn't do that for mine.
