Common engine issues with the Audi A3 1.0 TFSI include a malfunctioning oxygen sensor, high oil consumption, and the need to replace the coolant every 60,000 miles. You should also regularly change the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles and replace the spark plugs every 100,000 miles, unless they are copper, which should be changed every 30,000 miles. Be vigilant for loose gaskets, spark plug detachment, and oil leaks, which need prompt attention. Engine overheating poses a serious risk of fires and potential vehicle explosions, so it's crucial to address any overheating promptly and manage oil consumption to prevent issues arising sooner than expected.

Do you really think so? I've owned a brand new Audi A3 Black Edition since May 2018 and haven't had any problems at all. It has reached 50,000 miles already. In my opinion, you're not telling the truth.

My car's engine started making strange noises, and no one has explained to me yet what exactly went wrong. The issue will be repaired at no cost under warranty, but I am a bit concerned. I am now considering getting a different car.

I own a 2021 AUDI A3 1.0. The first time the battery was replaced, and on the second occasion, the battery and alternator needed to be changed. After a few weeks, the warning lights reappeared, requiring a replacement of the hybrid battery, alternator, and battery. Although the car seemed fine after that, the warning lights returned. When I contacted the Audi dealership, they informed me that I would have to cover the costs. They reset the light and drove it for a few months before the gearbox failed today. Fortunately, the car is still under warranty. The service provided by Audi customer service has been less than satisfactory.
