In 2011, the Chevy Silverado's CD player issues are usually caused by a faulty fuse. To access the fuse box located under the car's hood, you should first open and secure the hood. Look for a black box or case on the right side of the engine compartment with a visible seam. Inside this box, you will find the fuse. The inside cover of the case will have a diagram showing which fuse corresponds to what. If the guide is not inside the case, refer to the owner's manual. Once you identify the faulty fuse, carefully remove it. Check if the metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact; if not, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinstalled. Replacement fuses are affordable, priced at around $10.
