If you encounter issues with the touch screen in the Jaguar XF, there are a few possible reasons. If it is not responding or slow to respond, it may need time to warm up because touch screens operate based on heat, particularly in cold weather. If the touch screen is completely unresponsive, you may need to replace the fuse in the system. The fuse box can be found to the left of the steering wheel by looking for a small seam or crack along the dash. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you will see various fuses. Check the diagram on the back of the panel or refer to the owner's manual for the vehicle to identify the fuse that needs to be replaced. Remove the faulty fuse by pulling it out – if the thin metal strip connecting the two sections is broken, the fuse is bad and should be swapped out. New fuses are inexpensive, costing about $10 each.
