It's very unlikely that the push button start will fail on your 2016 Honda Pilot. If your vehicle is not starting, the most common reason is because you either don't have your key fob with you or the key fob battery is dead. A replacement battery will cost around $8, and you will need a CR 2032 battery. If the battery is not the problem, there may be a wiring issue or damage to the switch connecting the button to your vehicle. In this case, it's best to have a mechanic inspect it.

If you find that the push button start on your 2016 Honda Pilot isn't functioning, start by inspecting the battery in your key fob, and then go ahead with a reset of the system.
