The GMC Sierra Stabilitrack can encounter issues such as a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor, a faulty brake pedal switch, or using the wrong tire size. When the Service Stabilitrack message pops up on your dashboard, it can be concerning. It's natural to feel worried when faced with a warning message like that. However, these are all problems that a mechanic can easily address. If one of the wheel speed sensors malfunctions, the service light will promptly illuminate, signaling the need to replace the sensor. A malfunctioning brake light switch can disable the Stabilitrack system and trigger the warning light. Additionally, using an incorrect tire size can also prompt the service light to illuminate.
