The 2014 Dodge Ram might experience issues with its ignition when it reaches 80,000-100,000 miles due to a faulty part called the "wireless ignition node module" or WIN. Certain models of the 2009-2010 Dodge Journey and 2008-2010 Dodge Grand Caravan had this part recalled by Chrysler. When the WIN fails, the key fob may not start the engine or power the lights and radio in the "acc" position. It also won't unlock or lock doors or engage in remote start if it has that feature. Additionally, the security light may flicker on and off on the dashboard, and there may be intermittent clicking sounds when trying to start the vehicle. Typically, the WIN needs to be replaced, with the cost averaging between $300-$400 for parts and labor in a Dodge Ram.

If the ignition switch in a 2014 Dodge Ram is faulty, the truck may have difficulty starting or fail to start at all. This issue can arise from either a malfunctioning switch or damaged wires leading to the switch.
