The 2018 Ford F-150 is equipped with Motorcraft yellow antifreeze/coolant. To perform a coolant change, start by raising the hood and locating the radiator positioned at the front of the engine bay, connected to a clear or black plastic reservoir. This reservoir includes a drain plug, fill plug, and dipstick. To add more coolant, check the current level using the dipstick and top up as needed. For a complete flush, open the drain plug and allow the old coolant to flow out into a container. You can assist the draining process by adding water to the reservoir. Once the released water runs mostly clear, the flush is complete. Close the drain plug, refill the reservoir to the designated cool or cold line indicated by the dipstick, and seal the cap back tightly.
