The 2007 Ford Fusion uses Yellow 50/50 antifreeze and it should be replaced at 60,000-mile intervals. For maintenance, replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles and the spark plugs every 100,000 miles, unless they are copper spark plugs which should be changed every 30,000 miles. Issues with the engine may arise, such as loose gaskets that need tightening, spark plug dislodgement leading to engine problems, and oil leaks requiring immediate attention. Watch out for excessive oil consumption, indicating the need for earlier oil changes. A critical issue to be wary of is engine overheating, as it can result in fires and even the car exploding.
