I'm having trouble using the remote start feature on my XT5. The app indicates there is an "Alert," but doesn't provide details on the issue. Whenever I try to start the car remotely, the alarm goes off and the check engine light stays on for a couple of days. I've taken the car to the dealer twice for this problem. The first time, they claimed to have resolved it. The second time, they mentioned low voltage in the battery as the culprit and replaced it, but the problem persists. Now, they're unsure about the recurring issue.

My problem is that even after I turn off my car, it continues to run somehow. This has led me to call AAA two times in a span of two weeks to jumpstart my 2017 XT5.
