The transmission problems with the Chevy Express 2500 can be frustrating, with issues like jerking and getting stuck in gear. The transmission is a crucial component of a vehicle and is prone to problems over time. You may encounter issues like gears getting stuck, jerky movements, hard shifts, and shuddering. The transmission may also slip or experience delayed shifts, leading to acceleration problems. It's important to address any leaks in the transmission fluid promptly. Regular transmission fluid changes every 30,000 to 60,000 miles are necessary to maintain performance. In addition to fluid maintenance, you may notice unpleasant noises coming from the transmission as the fluid ages. A worn-out torque converter can also lead to headaches.

My work van had 97,000 miles on it when the transmission line failed and caused a fire that destroyed the van. It was a terrible vehicle to have and drive. Get a replacement immediately!

I don't believe there is any way to fix it, so don't bother wasting your time and money. We are at a loss and GM will pay the price in the end. Many small business owners like myself are facing significant challenges. It is unfortunate that GM is not willing to own up to their mistakes. I have driven my trucks for 3,000,000 miles without any problems, but the newer ones are unreliable. It is disheartening that GM is not willing to take responsibility. The trucks made after 2015 are just not good quality. I used to love this product, but now I am sad to see it decline. I have tried everything to no avail. Sincerely, it's a disappointing situation.
