The 2010 Venza with a 3.5-liter engine requires SAE 5W-30 full synthetic motor oil for an oil change. To begin, ensure the vehicle has been parked and turned off for a couple of hours to allow the engine oil to cool down. Locate the oil pan in the engine compartment and identify the drain plug underneath it. Place a bucket underneath the plug before removing it to allow the oil to drain into the pan completely. Once it ceases dripping, which could take up to an hour, reattach the drain plug. Next, find the intake port on the top of the oil pan and use a funnel to add oil until it reaches the full mark, being careful not to overfill. It's better to have slightly less oil than too much, as overfilling can cause leaks and oil consumption. Close the port securely, clean up any spilled oil, and the oil change process is complete.
