Start by finding the clear plastic container for the fluid under the hood near the window. Using a pump, remove all the old fluid from the container. As the fluid level decreases, turn the steering wheel first to one side and then to the other to drain any remaining fluid from the system. Once the container is empty, refill it up to the full line, but not beyond. It might take a little time for the steering to feel smooth again, so consider driving for about 20 minutes to ensure everything is functioning properly.
