The Honda CR-V is prone to experiencing shuddering in its torque converter, often due to contaminated or degraded transmission fluid. If you notice this issue, it's advised to promptly replace the transmission fluid. Typically, only around a third of the fluid (approximately 3 liters) is changed at once in the CR-V. To address contaminated fluid, consider changing out a third of it and adding Lubeguard Red Anti Shudder, then drive for a few days before repeating the process. After 3 or 4 cycles, you should have mostly new fluid in the system, which should help eliminate the shudder for an extended period.
