The factory speakers in a 2011 Chevy Impala come in different sizes, with 6-¾ in the front doors and 6x9 in the rear deck. Upgrades often include 1 tweeters in the front pillars and 3-½ inch tweeters in the rear deck. Swapping out the stock speakers involves taking off the front door panels and the rear deck cover. Many people opt to switch the front 6-¾ speakers for more common 6-½ ones that come in a wider price range. The rear speakers usually remain 6x9 due to their superior sound quality. Removing the rear cover requires taking off the surrounding panels and rear seats.
