Alright, to replace the battery in the key fob of a 2012 Honda Odyssey, you'll need a 3v 2032 cell battery. Start by taking out the physical key from the key fob. Then, use a tool to carefully separate the two sides of the key fob. You'll find the battery on one side. Gently remove the old battery and insert the new one. After swapping the battery, just snap the two pieces of the key fob back together.

Sorry, but that response is wrong. The key fob for a 2012 Honda Odyssey needs a CR2025 battery.

I apologize for the confusion. Let me clarify that the earlier answer (posted on April 10, 2020) is wrong, but I'll need to update my response. You can use a CR2032 battery in the fob too. While the CR2032 is slightly thicker than a CR2025 by 0.7mm, there is sufficient space to close the case with a CR2032 in place. Both batteries should function well.

Cr2032 didn't fit snugly. The CR2025 goes in and out smoothly. I don't want to risk damaging the plastic by applying too much pressure. I will purchase the CR2025 instead.
