The 2008 Honda Accord uses a CR1616 3V battery for its key fob. If your key fob battery is dead and you want to try replacing it yourself, I can assist you with the process. You will need a small screwdriver and a larger flathead screwdriver. Start by unscrewing the small screw at the back of the key fob using the smaller screwdriver. Then, remove the back cover of the key fob and use the flathead screwdriver to carefully pry open the center casing. Once open, take out the old battery and insert the new one with the positive side facing down. Close up the key fob, and you should be ready to go.
