The 2012 Honda CR-V comes with a CR1616 battery in its remote access keys. Unlike the common CR2032 battery, the CR1616 is smaller in diameter and thickness. Replacing the battery is easy; simply separate your key FOB, remove the old battery (make sure you note its correct orientation), and insert the new one. You can expect to pay less than $5 for a pack of these batteries.
