The CR3032, which is slightly thicker and has higher capacity, might not fit because the CR2025 batteries were challenging to insert and close properly. After receiving a low battery alert on the dashboard, I checked and saw the batteries were at 2.8V, with a total of 5.6 volts without a load. It seemed a bit early to replace them, considering they are only four years old. Despite the pricey $8.97 plus tax for a two-pack of CR2025 batteries at CVS, I now have my key fobs sorted for another four years.
