What type of oil does a 2004 Mercedes C320 need?

The 2004 Mercedes-Benz C320 is equipped with either of two engine options, both being 3.2L 6-cylinder engines. One is compatible with Flex Fuel, while the other is not. Both engines, however, require 7.9 quarts of oil. It is suggested to use SAE 0W-30 full synthetic oil, but the C320 is adaptable to various types based on the climate conditions. Mercedes advises using either 0W-30 or 0W-40 for all temperatures. For temperatures above -13F, options include 5W-30, 5W-40, or 5W-50. Above -4F, 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, or 10W-60 can be used. If operating solely above 5F, 15W-40 or 15W-50 can be applied. Temperatures above 23F permit the use of 20W-40 or 20W-50.
