The 2005 Hyundai XG350 only had one engine option from the factory, a 3.5L 6-cylinder. For most climates, you should use 10W-30 synthetic oil. In cold climates, opt for 10W-40 or 10W-50, while in hot climates above 95F, go for 5W-30 or 5W-40. The engine capacity is 4.5 US quarts including the filter. Oil changes are recommended every 7,500 miles. To remove the oil drain plug, use a 16mm socket and apply 28 ft-lbs of torque.
