For the 2006 INFINITIM35, it is recommended to use conventional oil that has the API certification mark or is ILSAC certified. Opt for an energy-conserving oil with a viscosity grade of SAE 5W-30. If the outdoor temperatures are higher than 0°F, you can also use SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40. Check the oil level regularly, but at least once a month. Pop the hood, pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it fully, remove it again, and ensure the oil level falls between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick.
