Mercedes-Benz cars are known for being particular about the type of gas they use, but they are quite flexible when it comes to different types of oil. For the 2010 GLK350, it is advised to use 7.4 quarts of SAE 0W-30 full synthetic oil. However, SAE 0W-40 is also suitable in all temperatures. In warmer regions, higher viscosity oils can be used. Above -13 degrees Fahrenheit, you can opt for SAE 5W-30, 5W-40, or 5W-50. Between -13 to -4 degrees Fahrenheit, SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, and 10W-60 are acceptable. For temperatures above -4 degrees Fahrenheit, you can consider SAE 15W-30, 15W-40, or 15W-50. If the temperature consistently remains above 23 degrees Fahrenheit, SAE 20W-40 or 20W-50 can be used. While sticking to SAE 0W-30 for the long run is recommended, the other oils are suitable within the specified temperature ranges, but not for colder conditions.
