For a 2012 Ford Fiesta, the recommended engine oil is A5w-20 viscosity. When changing the oil, make sure the car has been off and parked for a couple of hours to avoid burning yourself on the hot oil. Locate the oil pan and drain plug, position a bucket underneath, and remove the plug to allow the oil to drain. Wait until it stops dripping, then replace the drain plug. Find the intake port on top of the oil pan, use a funnel to fill it to the full mark, but do not overfill to prevent leaks or oil burn off. Close the port, clean up any spills, and you're done.

The 2012 Ford Fiesta should use a 5W-20 engine oil that meets Ford's WSS-M2C945-A quality requirements.
