The 2013 Nissan Murano takes SAE 5W-30 motor oil and requires 4.8 US quarts. Keeping your car in good condition, Nissan suggests changing the oil every 5,000 miles. It's also important to regularly check the oil level, ideally once a month. To do so, open the hood by pulling the lever inside the driver's side cabin. Locate the dipstick in the front left of the engine, remove it, wipe it clean with a shop rag, and reinsert it. Remove the dipstick again to check the level. If the oil is below the fill line, you should add more; if it's above the full line, you should drain some. Remember to check the levels when the engine is cold and the car is parked on a level surface.
