Pennzoil ultra platinum 0w-40 is the exclusive oil recommended for the 6.4L gas engine. The owner's manual provides the lubrication specification number, which is only found on the Pennzoil label that also features SRT. Amsoil is the sole other manufacturer currently offering an oil with the same spec number, MS-12633. If this number is not on the label, the oil is not suitable for your HEMI engine.

I purchased a brand new 2500 6.7 truck and checked the manual. It advised using 10w-30 oil for temperatures above 0F and 5w-40 synthetic oil for temperatures below 0F. I personally recommend using synthetic oil for both temperature ranges.
