In the 2011 Ford Fiesta, the type of transmission fluid you use depends on the transmission in your vehicle. For automatic transmissions, it's recommended to use Motorcraft Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid XT-11-QDC or an equivalent that meets Ford spec WSS-M2C200-D2. If your Fiesta has a manual transmission, opt for Motorcraft Full Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid XT-M5-QS or an equivalent matching Ford spec WSD-M2C200-C. Automatic transmissions hold 1.8 quarts while manual transmissions hold 2.2 quarts. Note that automatic transmissions lack a dipstick, requiring the vehicle to be lifted and leveled for access to the fill plug on its side. The fluid level should align with the bottom of the fill hole.
