Affected vehicles include Ford Fiesta models produced between April 10, 2014, and June 17, 2014, with the recall commencing on February 27, 2015. The fuel pump failure in these specific models is attributed to improper nickel plating of its components. To address this issue, owners are advised to have the fuel pump replaced free of charge at an authorized dealership.
