The issue with the Honda CR-V keyless start system lies with the key fob, which utilizes a cr2032 battery. These coin-shaped batteries are easily found for around $5 each and are commonly available in stores. To replace the battery, you'll have to access the back panel of the fob. The procedure may differ depending on the type of fob you have - some can be opened by simply sliding off the back, while others may require removing a few small screws with a suitable screwdriver before replacing the battery.
The main problems often encountered are when the key fob fails to link up properly or when the key fob battery runs out of power.
