In 2020, my Oxford Brown Silverado 2500HD High Country experienced peeling paint on both bumpers. I took it to the dealership, who took photos and referred me to a body shop for a re-paint estimate. After sending the quote to GM in July, I received a call yesterday from the dealership saying GM would cover the re-paint of the rear bumper, but claimed the front bumper damage was due to rock chips. I disputed this, pointing out that the paint issues started under the parking sensors and spread from there. I provided new photos to the dealership and GM rep clearly showing no missing paint chips. With the truck at 18K miles initially and 21K now, I hope to receive positive news soon. The situation is truly frustrating!
