If you're having issues with your MyFord Touch system in your Ford Edge, you can try doing a master reset. This will reset your MyFord Touch system back to its original factory settings, which can help improve system performance. Keep in mind that a master reset will erase all system data, including phonebook entries, call logs, texts, paired devices, saved addresses, and navigation history. Remember to back up your data before proceeding and re-pair your Bluetooth devices after the reset. To do a master reset, go to Settings on your system's touch screen, then navigate to System and select Master Reset on the second page. Confirm the reset when prompted by SYNC. The screen will display "Performing scheduled system maintenance..." for a few minutes before returning to the home screen, indicating that the master reset is complete.

I own a 2018 Edge Titanium. The display screen suddenly turned off. Below the screen, there's a big circular audio control knob. I tried holding down the knob for 10 seconds while also pressing the "Seek" and "tuning" buttons around it. This action successfully reset the central navigation screen.

I contacted the dealership where we purchased the car, and the service technician told me he has never encountered this issue before. However, he will charge $199.00 to inspect the car. What a scam! If he is unfamiliar with the problem, he should investigate it further!
