In the 2007 Cadillac DTS, the air ride suspension system, also known as the leveling system, is constantly active and cannot be deactivated using a switch or lever like in Lincoln vehicles. This system is intelligent and recognizes when the car is being lifted for maintenance or tire changes, keeping the air in the suspension. The Cadillac DTS utilizes a combination of a relay and a fuse to control its leveling. To stop the compressor, you can access the fuse box located beneath the rear seat cushion near the battery. Look for the "ELC Fuse," which is 30 amps, and the relay is identified as #55.
