If your Volvo S40 has an aftermarket head unit from brands like Boss, Bose, Sony, JVC, Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, or others, it may already have a built-in auxiliary input on the front. However, if your car still has the original equipment, you will need to search within the console for the input.
