The AudiQ5 2016 has its aux input located on the main console dashboard. If the aux input is not working, you should check the fuse box. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you will find several fuses. On the back of the panel you opened, there will be a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not on the back of the panel, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you have identified the fuse that needs to be replaced, simply pull it out. Check to see if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections is intact; if it is broken, the fuse is no longer functional and should be replaced. If the metal strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10.
