The 2008 Mercedes S500 does not come with an AUX input as standard, but it can be added for under 200 dollars. This can be retrofitted into either the glove compartment box or center console. Equipped with a powerful 5.5 liter V8 engine providing 382 HP and 391 lb-ft of torque, the S500 comes with standard features such as Sirius AM/FM satellite radio, LCD monitors in the first and second rows, heated seats and mirrors, rain sensing windshield wipers, and Mercedes' COMMAND-powered on-board navigation system. For connecting devices without an AUX, options include using an FM transmitter or utilizing the USB port to play digitally stored music files.
