The 2016 Honda CR-V has its auxiliary input located on the dashboard, where you can find the 3.5 mm audio jack. If you encounter problems with it not working, there are a few things to check. If the jack is obstructed, make sure to clean it thoroughly. If it's still not functioning, it might be due to a faulty wire or a blown fuse. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard. With a screwdriver or prybar, gently open this panel. Inside, you'll find a collection of fuses. If there's a diagram on the back of the panel, it will guide you on the fuse placement. Alternatively, check the vehicle's owner's manual for the fuse layout. Once you identify the problematic fuse, carefully remove it. Ensure that the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections is intact. If it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced; if it's still intact, reinsert the fuse. New fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10.
