In the trunk on the right-hand side, there is a panel that you can remove. Behind this panel, about an inch towards the back, is the auxiliary battery. To replace it, you can either remove the spare tire and surrounding carpet area, or you can cut the carpet beneath the panel box and lift it up for easier access. Before starting, make sure the battery is indeed there by feeling for it inside the open panel box. You will feel two pieces that stand up, confirming that you are in the correct spot.
