In the 2017 Buick LaCrosse, the battery is located in the trunk towards the left side under a plastic cover. To access it, you need to first pull the switch/knob on the cover, then remove the cover. Next, take out the bottom floor panel, followed by the panel underneath it, and then another plastic panel at the back. Once you've completed these steps, you'll need to detach the fasteners on the left side. Pull back the trunk lining on the left side to reveal the battery. Slide off the cover, loosen the bolts on the sway bar, remove the sway bar, and then you can reach the battery.
