The cabin air filter in a 2003 Dodge Ram is located behind the glovebox. Be prepared to hear some irritating noises from the air conditioner; loose mounting bolts and a faulty compressor can contribute to this. Excessive Freon can also be a cause. It is crucial to address these sounds promptly to prevent frustration. Dealing with heat-related sweat is never pleasant, which is why keeping the air conditioner in good working condition is vital. Over time, issues with this component may arise. Unpleasant odors from the vents can impact your comfort, along with potential problems from an inaccurate thermostat or a faulty motor. A Freon leak can lead to uncomfortable perspiration. Keep an eye out for a loose fan as well.

Howdy, @Gabe palacios. If you're experiencing dampness due to a leaking heater core, you may detect a scent of antifreeze or notice condensation. Additionally, if the air conditioner functions properly only when the vehicle is in motion, the issue could be a burnt fan located behind what appears to be a small radiator, possibly the condenser, positioned next to the larger radiator.
