To access the cabin air filter on a 2016 Jeep Cherokee, locate it beneath the glove box on the right side of the car. First, remove the side console by pulling the side closest to the hood toward the back of the vehicle to loosen the front tabs. Then, pull the cover toward the passenger door to expose the air filter door. Press down on the tab at the bottom of the door to release the cover, rotate it out and up to remove it. Take out the old filter, noting the position indicators, clean any remaining debris, insert the new filter, and reattach everything securely.

The cabin air filter can be found underneath a panel on the passenger side of the car. It is located on the side of the center console, under the dashboard. To access it, you will need to carefully pry off the panel, which is held in place by three clips. Underneath the panel, there is a thin cover on the air box, which can be removed by prying up the clips at the top and bottom. After removing the cover, gently pull out the filter, ensuring that the arrows on the edge of the filter are facing the same direction as the old filter.
