In the 2005 Dodge Neon, there is no cabin air filter since Neons utilize a plastic mesh instead to block debris from entering the HVAC system. This plastic mesh is long-lasting and doesn't require regular replacement like traditional cabin air filters, which usually need changing every 30,000 miles. If desired, a cabin air filter can be installed as an aftermarket accessory for the Neon. Typically, cabin air filters are situated behind the passenger-side glove box or near the bottom of the windshield in the engine compartment.
