The cooling fan relay for the 2014 Chevy Silverado can be found in the engine compartment on the right-hand side under the hood. There are two related relays labeled twelve and thirteen. Signs of a failing cooling fan relay can include engine overheating, fans not running, fans continuing to run after the engine is turned off, reduced A/C performance, as well as the Check Engine light or temperature warning light coming on to indicate a problem with the relay. Damage from circuit alterations, overheating, or failure of the relay control module can cause a relay to go bad.
The cooling fan relay for the 2014 Chevy Silverado can be found alongside the radiator cooling fan.
I own a 2014 Silverado 1500 LT Z71. Can you provide a clearer location for relays 12 & 13? I checked the fuse box on the driver's side top of the fender well, but they weren't there. If they're near the electric dual cooling fan, should I access them from the top of the radiator or from underneath the truck? Could you possibly share a picture or a more detailed description of where to find them? I'm experiencing the problems mentioned above. Thank you.
Could you tell me where I can find the cooling fan relay near the radiator and how I can reach it?
Apologies, but fuses 12 and 13 are not the correct ones. Please try another option. This is in reply to NAYA V.
