The 2014 VW Jetta doesn't have a specific cooling fan relay; instead, it's connected to a control module that functions as a collection of relays for a single purpose. This control unit can be found at the front of the engine compartment, beneath the battery and close to the radiator. To reach it, you'll need to remove the battery. The cost of a replacement control unit can range from $20 to $40, depending on whether it's an aftermarket or OEM part. If you prefer, the dealership or a mechanic can handle the replacement for a nominal fee, typically around $50 to $100, covering both parts and labor. Remember to inspect the wires when installing a new relay to ensure they are connected and free of corrosion.
The cooling fan relay for a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta can be found on the left side of the engine bay, close to the radiator.
The relays are located right beneath the steering wheel on the lower left side, behind the retractable tray. Remove the tray to access the relays, which can then be pulled out for testing.
