The ECM relay in the 2012 Nissan Titan is positioned in the engine bay. To locate it, first, open the hood using the inside lever and raise it to access the internal components. You'll find it on the passenger side of the bay, under the windshield towards the far left. Look for a small plastic compartment with a grey plastic cover that must be removed to reach the relays. After removing the lid, you should spot the ECM relay easily. It will be the only green relay on the left side and is quite large, typically the second one from the top. If there's an issue with the ECM relay, you may notice your engine misfiring, making odd noises, or struggling to accelerate beyond 35 mph.

If you have the black IPDM box, finding the STARTER RELAY SWITCH is easy. It's the third switch from the left when looking from left to right, or the first switch when looking from right to left. It should be positioned lengthwise, not on its side.
