In order to activate the fog lights on a MINI Cooper, you should identify the two buttons near the main headlight control dial on the driver's dashboard. These buttons are marked with a lamp symbol. To turn on the rear fog light, adjust the dial to the headlight position by turning it two clicks clockwise, and then press the lower FL button once. A notification will appear on the speedometer confirming that the rear fog light is on. For the front fog lights, press the top button beside the headlight controls. Another indicator light will turn on. To turn off either light (or both), simply press the corresponding button again. The type of replacement bulbs needed for the fog lights (H8, H7, or H11) depends on the MINI Cooper's manufacturing year.
