The fuel filter for your 2016 Chevrolet Cruze can be found on the driver side frame rail near the driver door. Just trace the fuel line underneath the car to locate it. A suitable replacement filter for your vehicle is the Carquest Premium Fuel Filter 96538875, which costs approximately $26. To change the fuel filter, lift your car with a jack, loosen and set aside the nuts on the fuel composition sensor bracket. Disconnect the fuel line fitting from the filter. Pull the fitting back until it stops at the filter. Once the filter is detached, remove the quick connect fitting and then pull out the filter. Follow the reverse steps to install the new fuel filter on your Cruze.
