The 2007 Ford F-150 fuel pump is connected to two different fuses within the passenger compartment fuse panel, also known as the power distribution box, situated under the right-hand side of the instrument panel. Fuse number 9 is a 20A fuse that supplies power to the fuel pump relay, as well as the fuel injectors and injector sense. A separate fuse, labeled R303 on the circuit board, is responsible for powering the fuel pump itself. If any of these fuses are faulty, you may notice the fuel pump not functioning properly as the main indicator. Additional signs of a problematic fuse or relay could include the Check Engine Light coming on, a lack of noise from the fuel pump, engine performance issues like stalling or slow acceleration, or unusually long starting times.
